About the role

The Peer Advisor – Study Abroad Hourly Help Assistant provides on‑site, hourly support to students navigating the study‑abroad process. Working within the University of Arkansas’s study‑abroad office, the advisor assists peers with information, guidance, and clerical tasks related to international programs.

Key responsibilities

• Offer hourly assistance to students seeking information about study‑abroad opportunities.
• Answer questions and direct students to appropriate resources and forms.
• Perform clerical duties such as processing paperwork and maintaining records.
• Collaborate with the study‑abroad team to ensure accurate and timely support.

Required profile

• Current employee of the University of Arkansas System (including student employees or graduate assistants).
• Eligibility to work in the United States (no sponsorship available).
• Ability to work day‑shift hours on campus.
