About the role
The University of Arkansas Grantham seeks qualified part‑time faculty to teach psychology courses online. This remote position serves students across multiple states and offers flexible scheduling based on course offerings.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver eight‑week online psychology courses using the Blackboard Learning Management System.
- Manage a virtual classroom of up to 70 students, providing instruction, feedback, and academic support.
- Develop and update course materials, assessments, and learning activities.
- Maintain regular communication with students and departmental staff.
- Adhere to university policies and academic standards.
Required profile
- Residency and legal ability to work full‑time in one of the listed states (AR, AZ, DE, FL, GA, KS, IA, ID, IN, KY, LA, MD, MI, MO, MS, NC, NE, NJ, OH, OK, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WI, WY).
- Relevant academic credentials in psychology (master’s or doctoral degree preferred).
- Experience teaching or tutoring in an online environment.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Blackboard Learning Management System.
