Part‑time Faculty – Elementary & Early Childhood Education

About the role

Kennesaw State University is seeking qualified candidates for a pool of part‑time and limited‑term faculty positions in the Department of Elementary & Early Childhood Education for the 2025‑2026 academic year. Appointments are on an as‑needed, semester‑by‑semester basis and rank will be determined at hiring based on credentials.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in elementary and early childhood education.
• Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and assessments.
• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Advise and mentor students on academic and professional matters.
• Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and faculty committees.
• Maintain professional development and stay current with educational research and best practices.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or higher in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated teaching experience at the college level is preferred.
• Eligibility to work in the state of Georgia.
• Ability to teach a variety of courses within the department’s scope.
