Part-Time Teller – South Yarmouth, MA

About the role

Santander is seeking a friendly and reliable Part‑Time Teller to join its South Yarmouth branch. In this role you will be the first point of contact for customers, helping them with everyday banking transactions while delivering exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, minimize wait times and assist with deposits, withdrawals, transfers and other transactions.
• Handle cash accurately, maintain cash‑drawer balances and follow all compliance and risk‑management procedures.
• Identify and refer customers to appropriate bank products, cross‑selling where suitable.
• Use digital tools to educate customers on self‑service options and resolve routine inquiries.
• Support branch operations such as audits, custodial duties and occasional assistance to nearby locations.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area to create a welcoming environment.

Required profile

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of cash‑handling experience.
• Minimum 6 months of customer‑service experience.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and ability to follow policies.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Willingness to work branch hours, including evenings and weekends.
