About the role

Join Santander’s Hamilton branch as a Part‑Time Teller, providing front‑line banking services to customers in a fast‑paced environment. You will be the first point of contact, delivering exceptional service while handling cash and transactions accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers, minimize wait times and assist with deposits, withdrawals, transfers and other banking needs.
• Handle cash, maintain accurate drawer balances and follow all compliance and risk‑management procedures.
• Identify and refer opportunities to cross‑sell bank products, educating customers on digital self‑service tools.
• Assist with custodial duties, audits and other operational tasks as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and support nearby branches when business needs arise.

Required profile

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
• At least 6 months of cash‑handling experience.
• Minimum 6 months of demonstrated customer‑service experience.
• Strong communication, listening and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work branch hours, including evenings and weekends.

Required skills

• Computer proficiency.
• Basic math skills.
