Part-Time Adult Education Instructor

About the role

The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton is seeking a part‑time Adult Education Instructor to join its Adult Education Center in Clinton. Working under the Director of Adult Education, you will help adult learners achieve personal goals such as improving basic literacy, gaining digital and financial skills, learning English, and earning a GED®.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver instruction in reading, language, and mathematics to adult students.
• Provide training in digital literacy, financial literacy, and English as a second language.
• Prepare students for the GED® examination.
• Adapt lesson plans to diverse learner needs and goals.
• Maintain attendance records and assess student progress.
• Work evening and weekend hours as required.

Required profile

• Experience or interest in teaching adult learners.
• Ability to teach basic skills, digital literacy, financial literacy, English language, and GED preparation.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
