Paralegal – Insurance Defense Law Firm

About the role

We are a growing law firm specializing in insurance defense, seeking an experienced Paralegal to support our attorneys in New Orleans or Baton Rouge. The role demands strong organizational abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in preparing and organizing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and correspondence.
• Conduct legal research and gather case‑related information.
• Coordinate and manage case files, ensuring all documentation is up‑to‑date and easily accessible.
• Draft and proofread legal documents and correspondence.
• Prepare for depositions, hearings, trials, and client meetings.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented and experienced Paralegal, preferably with insurance defense background.
• Proactive individual with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
