Paralegal – Corporate & Commercial Law

About the role

The NFL is seeking a Paralegal to support in‑house attorneys on a broad spectrum of corporate, commercial, and governance matters. This role will work closely with senior legal staff on ownership and financing transactions, policy documents, stadium leases, and player health and safety issues.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate, review, and prepare briefing materials, presentations, and correspondence for league, committee, and other meetings.
• Draft contracts, amendments, releases, and schedules using established templates.
• Conduct legal research and compile informational reports.
• Maintain corporate registrations and ensure governance compliance for league‑level entities.
• Manage knowledge and document systems to enable efficient research and retrieval.
• Collaborate with finance and other business units on contract processes and annual updates.
• Assist senior and executive leaders on ad‑hoc projects and perform other assigned duties.

Required profile

• Degree from an accredited 4‑year college or university preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 1 year of paralegal experience in a law firm is preferred.
• Strong multitasking ability, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary and to adhere to a 40‑hour onsite schedule.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
