About the role
Bedrock Energy is looking for motivated individuals to join its field crew as Operator Trainees. This entry‑level position provides hands‑on training in geothermal drilling operations and prepares you for a full equipment operator role.
Key responsibilities
- Support general field operations and labor tasks under supervision.
- Learn and follow Bedrock’s safety expectations, SOPs, and crew standards.
- Assist with rig‑up, staging, cleanup, material handling, and other drilling‑site tasks.
- Observe experienced operators and gradually take on field duties.
- Follow directions from the Ground Operator, Mud Operator, and Driller.
- Identify and report abnormal conditions on the jobsite.
- Build familiarity with Bedrock equipment, tools, and workflows.
Required profile
- 0‑1 years of mechanical, construction, or field‑based work experience.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a quick learning ability.
- Positive attitude in team environments and willingness to follow safety directions.
- Comfortable with physical work, travel, and outdoor conditions.
Required skills
- Forklift operation
