On-site HAZMAT & Safety Instructor

About the role

This contract, on‑site Instructor role is based in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area. You will deliver customized environmental safety training programs—including HAZMAT, HAZWOPER, and Confined Space courses—directly at client facilities across the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and adapt course materials to meet client‑specific requirements.
• Facilitate engaging, informative training sessions on HAZMAT, HAZWOPER, and Confined Space safety.
• Assess participant progress and provide feedback.
• Ensure all training complies with relevant safety and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with the Training Coordinator to align schedules and client needs.

Required profile

• Knowledge and experience with HAZMAT, HAZWOPER, and Confined Space safety standards.
• Strong teaching or training abilities, capable of communicating complex safety procedures clearly.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer‑service skills for working with diverse client teams.
• Relevant safety or environmental certification is highly desirable.
• Organized, adaptable, and able to manage schedules and meet deadlines.
• Proven record of adhering to safety regulations and ensuring compliance.
• Previous on‑site training experience is a plus but not mandatory.
