About the role
We are a specialist in the beer, wine and spirits industry seeking an enthusiastic Sales Representative to grow and manage on‑premise accounts in the Irvine area. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with customers, promoting supplier brands, and achieving sales targets while delivering exceptional service.
Key responsibilities
- Visit assigned accounts daily and create an efficient routing pattern.
- Identify sales opportunities on each account, complete required surveys, and ensure compliance with national account standards.
- Deliver professional sales presentations that balance company priorities with customer needs, including new product introductions, bar placements, and promotions.
- Maintain product inventory levels, restock shelves where legally permissible, and monitor out‑of‑stock situations.
- Provide education and training to account staff on priority brands.
- Process credits, returns, and manage receivables, communicating with accounts on aged balances.
- Handle customer issues, deliver products in extenuating circumstances, and refer escalations to management.
- Achieve distribution, volume, and activity goals for supplier brands.
- Ensure brand visibility using point‑of‑sale materials and maintain account standards.
- Collect payments and support new account openings in collaboration with the Field Sales Manager.
Required profile
- Current associate with access to the internal Career Portal.
- Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for customer visits.
- Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced selling environment.
