About the role

The Trudy Busch Valentine School of Nursing at Saint Louis University seeks a Non-Tenure Track Nursing Simulation Operations Manager to teach practical clinical skills and manage the simulation laboratory for undergraduate nursing students.

Key responsibilities

• Teach hands‑on clinical skills to undergraduate nursing cohorts.
• Operate, maintain, and repair patient‑care simulators, mannequins, and associated software.
• Collaborate with the Lab Coordinator and faculty to design and update simulation scenarios, skills labs, and interprofessional events.
• Prepare simulation equipment, including scenario props, simulated fluids, and media/computer interfaces.
• Assist in developing syllabi for practical skills courses and support day‑to‑day laboratory operations.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in nursing.
• Minimum five years of nursing experience, with at least two to three years in nursing simulation.
• Active or eligible nursing licensure in Missouri.
• Strong teaching and clinical abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work collaboratively with faculty.

Required skills

• Proficiency with simulation lab equipment and related software.
• Computer literacy and basic troubleshooting of technical systems.
