About the role
Byte Technology is seeking a National Account Sales Manager to expand its smart unattended retail solutions within foodservice operators and self‑operated dining programs. The ideal candidate has deep experience in the foodservice industry, preferably from a large contract operator, and understands how operators evaluate new revenue streams.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and win new business with contract foodservice operators and self‑operated dining programs.
- Build and maintain relationships with decision‑makers across operations, finance, procurement and executive leadership.
- Develop clear rollout paths and business cases that demonstrate revenue, margin and guest‑experience benefits.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial conversation through signed agreement, including negotiation of commercial terms.
- Translate field and operator requirements back to Byte’s product, operations and leadership teams.
- Support the go‑to‑market strategy for healthcare, higher education and workplace dining segments.
Required profile
- Significant experience in a district, regional, VP or director role at a contract foodservice operator such as Aramark, Compass, Sodexo, Thomas Cuisine, Elior, Morrison, AVI, or similar.
- Proven track record of managing multi‑site dining, retail, vending or micro‑market programs with P&L responsibility.
- Existing relationships within healthcare, higher education or workplace dining environments.
- Deep understanding of operator economics, labor, margin, client retention and revenue per location.
