Mobile QA Automation Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mobile QA Automation Engineer to strengthen our testing capabilities for iOS and Android applications. You will design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Appium and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure high‑quality releases.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated test suites for iOS and Android with Appium, primarily using JavaScript.
• Expand coverage for critical user workflows such as authentication, media handling, connectivity changes, app lifecycle, and performance‑sensitive paths.
• Maintain and grow web end‑to‑end automation using Cypress.
• Partner with Engineering, QA, and Product to align test coverage with feature specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, track regressions, and address flaky tests.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for fast feedback and release validation.
• Continuously improve frameworks, tools, and best practices to increase stability and speed.
• Participate in production issue root‑cause analysis and post‑release learning.

Required profile

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience in mobile test automation.
• Proven ability to build and maintain Appium‑based automation for iOS and Android.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams in an agile environment.
