Maintenance Technician - Willowbend

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Willowbend property in Humble, Texas. The role involves handling resident service requests, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and conduct preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, scheduling vendors, obtaining supplies, completing repairs, and inspecting finished work.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, track usage, return unused items, and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly for proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, pressure‑washing, trash removal, and painting as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts and using materials efficiently.
• Comply with Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings, complete OSHA training, and report incidents.
• Periodically inspect work performed by contractors and vendors to verify quality.
