Maintenance Technician – Shoreline Gateway

About the role

The Maintenance Technician for Shoreline Gateway ensures that the building, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This onsite role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and supporting the overall property operations.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, adhering to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly for proper tracking.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep, such as trash removal, pressure‑washing, general cleaning, and painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in high‑rise residential settings.
• Ability to work Monday‑Friday schedule and follow established safety and procedural guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
