Maintenance Technician (Maxwell)

About the role

The Maintenance Technician (Maxwell) is responsible for ensuring that the physical components of Greystar’s Everett property—including buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas—meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. The role involves responding to resident service requests, performing preventative maintenance and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident requests and conduct preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing them in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments: perform pre‑move‑out inspections, create punch lists, schedule vendors, obtain supplies, complete repairs and verify finished work.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage, return unused items and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document all service requests and maintenance activities accurately and promptly for proper tracking.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep, including trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning and painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials responsibly.

Required profile

• Ability to follow established procedures, safety policies and risk‑management guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail for inspections, documentation and inventory tracking.
• Willingness to work on‑site in a property‑management environment and collaborate with vendors and contractors.
