Maintenance Technician – Copper Hills

About the role

The Maintenance Technician will ensure that the physical aspects of the Copper Hills property—including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas—meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. The role works on a Tuesday‑Saturday schedule and bilingual English/Spanish abilities are a plus.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and making repairs in line with policies and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly for proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by trash removal, pressure‑washing, general cleaning, and painting as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible.
• Adhere to Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies.

Required profile

• Ability to read and follow work orders and maintenance procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
• Flexibility to work the Tuesday‑Saturday schedule.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are advantageous.
