Maintenance Technician – Copper Hills

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Copper Hills community in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The role involves performing technical and mechanical tasks to keep the property, grounds, amenities and common areas safe, functional and well‑maintained.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete assigned work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with company policies and safety standards.
• Carry out preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment to minimize downtime.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists and completing necessary repairs before new tenants move in.
• Maintain cleanliness, appearance and safety of common areas, amenities and exterior grounds.
• Document work performed and update maintenance logs accurately.

Required profile

• Ability to work a Tuesday‑Saturday schedule.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with code requirements.
