Maintenance Technician – Atlantic at Grand Oaks

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures that the physical aspects of Grand Oaks – a stabilized garden‑style community – meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance, and functionality. Working Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑5 pm with a rotating on‑call schedule, you will address resident service requests, perform preventative maintenance, and prepare vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident requests and preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, task completion, and final inspection.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests and maintenance activities accurately and promptly.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities by trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to perform a variety of technical and mechanical tasks in a residential property setting.
• Strong attention to detail for inspections, documentation, and inventory tracking.
• Willingness to work scheduled hours and participate in a rotating on‑call rotation.
