Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift (Monday‑Friday, 1:00 pm‑9:30 pm) to keep our large manufacturing equipment running smoothly. The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor systems.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections, cleaning, oiling, lubricating, and belt changes on machines.
• Diagnose root causes of unexpected breakdowns and execute rapid repairs to minimize downtime.
• Record damaged or worn parts, order replacements, and install them as needed.
• Prepare detailed reports of work performed.
• Maintain shop areas, inventory, tools, and supplies.
• Coordinate scheduled maintenance with managers and collaborate on new product introductions.
• Modify equipment, conduct test runs, and adjust based on product manager feedback.
• Identify improvement opportunities and lead or support implementation.
• Wear required PPE at all times to promote a zero‑accident culture.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational certificate in welding, maintenance, electrical, or related field preferred.
• Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to pass internal testing and certifications.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual ability is a plus.
• Customer‑centric attitude, high energy, and sense of urgency.
