Maintenance Supervisor – The Sudbury

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that the interior and exterior of the community, including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas, meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This role combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of make‑ready processes and vendor coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve resident service requests and routine upkeep, following safety standards and code requirements.
• Manage the make‑ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor scheduling, supply ordering, repairs, and final inspection.
• Develop and maintain standards for the appearance of grounds, building exteriors, unit interiors, breezeways, signage, parking areas, and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by service team members, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with policies, quality standards, and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials, coordinating orders with the Community Manager while adhering to budget guidelines.
• Execute monthly preventative maintenance procedures as outlined in the policy manual.
• Assist the Community Manager with various maintenance‑related tasks and projects.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose defects and perform repairs in accordance with established policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Experience overseeing make‑ready processes and coordinating vendors and contractors.
• Strong organizational skills for inventory management and scheduling.
• Attention to detail when inspecting work and ensuring quality standards.
