Maintenance Supervisor for Modera Clarendon Community

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that the Modera Clarendon community’s buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This position combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of maintenance processes and vendor coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and routine upkeep, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety codes and company policies.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor scheduling, supply procurement, task completion and final inspection.
• Develop and maintain standards for the appearance and cleanliness of grounds, building exteriors, breezeways, signage, parking areas and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards, scope and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, coordinating orders with the Community Manager while adhering to budget guidelines.
• Execute monthly preventative maintenance procedures as outlined in the policy manual.
• Assist the Community Manager with additional maintenance‑related duties as needed.
