Machine Operator - Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing

About the Position

Join a cutting-edge technology company revolutionizing the metal supply chain. As a Machine Operator at Nox Metals, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality aluminum components to leading aerospace and defense manufacturers using advanced automation and software.

Main Missions

• Operate industrial saws, band saws, CNC equipment, and material handling systems.
• Load, measure, cut, and inspect aluminum parts according to precise technical specifications.
• Manage material flow by driving forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Follow production schedules and cutting lists to ensure timely delivery.
• Receive incoming raw materials and verify purchase orders for accuracy.
• Prepare shipments through professional packaging, labeling, and documentation.
• Record production data and job completions within our proprietary software systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace while continuously improving processes.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, metal service center, or skilled trades.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and high-quality standards.
• Ability to work independently, take responsibility, and remain precise under pressure.
• Physically capable of standing for full shifts and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Team player with a customer-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Availability to work occasional overtime if required.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in operating industrial machinery (CNC, Saws).
• Equipment operation (Forklift, Overhead Crane).
• Technical reading (Cutting lists, specifications).
• Digital literacy (Data entry and manufacturing software).
• Quality control and inspection techniques.

Work Schedule

• Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM.
