Machine Maintenance Technician (Night Shift)

About the role

ProAmpac Rochester is seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician to join its night‑shift team. The position works Monday‑Thursday from 3:15 pm to 1:45 am and includes on‑call duty every fourth weekend. This full‑time, non‑exempt role supports the flexible‑packaging production line by keeping equipment running safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electro‑mechanical and pneumatic repairs on production machinery.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Maintain facility management services, including HVAC, compressed‑air, and utility systems.
• Document work orders, track parts inventory, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns during on‑call weekends.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3‑5 years of trade experience with electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems.
• Experience in flexible‑packaging manufacturing is a plus.
• Strong time‑management and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Proactive problem‑solving and sound judgment.
