About the role
The Logistics Manager will lead field logistics and delivery execution for the NYC metropolitan market. This full‑time, onsite position ensures product movement is timely, compliant, and cost‑effective while maintaining strong customer and account relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Provide leadership, recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching and performance management for the Logistics Support Team.
- Direct daily delivery operations, including dispatch planning, route optimization, scheduling and workload distribution.
- Conduct field evaluations, ride‑alongs and regular check‑ins to reinforce performance standards and support employee development.
- Oversee fleet maintenance, safety protocols and transportation compliance.
- Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency, reduce costs and scale operations.
- Ensure accurate, compliant deliveries, handling product, customer service and payment collection as needed.
- Manage cash reconciliation, reporting accuracy and internal controls.
- Support key accounts through in‑field deliveries, pickups, merchandising and event participation.
- Track promotional materials, samples, event supplies and other field assets.
- Collaborate with Sales, Inventory, Distribution and Operations teams for aligned execution.
- Maintain operational records, reporting systems, CRM updates and documentation standards.
Required profile
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 3 + years experience in logistics, delivery operations, account management or customer‑facing field roles.
- At least 1 year of supervisory or team‑lead experience.
- Strong leadership presence with excellent communication and team‑development abilities.
- Proven ability to manage routing, scheduling and operational workflows.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record and reliable transportation for travel within the assignment area.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with CRM/ERP systems (preferred).
