Interventional Radiology Manager

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Manager of Interventional Radiology to lead its Interventional Services within the Perioperative Services department. This senior operational role oversees the delivery of interventional radiology procedures, ensures high-quality patient care, and supports the academic and research missions of the institution.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily operations of the Interventional Radiology suite, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team of radiologists, technologists, nurses, and support staff.
• Develop and monitor budgets, financial performance, and cost-containment strategies.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, safety protocols, and accreditation requirements.
• Collaborate with perioperative services, clinical departments, and research teams to optimize patient pathways.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and performance metrics reporting.
• Participate in recruitment, training, and professional development of staff.

Required profile

• Proven management experience in a radiology or interventional imaging environment.
• Strong understanding of interventional radiology procedures and clinical workflows.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced academic medical center.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
