About the role
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking an Instrument Technician I to join its Instrument Processing Department within Perioperative Services. This position supports the preparation and maintenance of surgical instruments, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety and functionality for patient care.
Key responsibilities
- Process and prepare surgical instruments for the perioperative services department.
- Ensure instruments are cleaned, inspected, and maintained according to hospital standards.
- Support varying work shifts as required by the department.
Required profile
- Current employee, student employee, or graduate assistant of the University of Arkansas System.
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
- Ability to work varying shifts in a hospital environment.
