About the role
The Industrial Technology Instructor will design and deliver both credit and non‑credit training programs for manufacturing and processing environments. The position supports students and industry partners by providing hands‑on instruction in a range of technical subjects.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and deliver training programs covering plant automation, mechanical systems maintenance, industrial safety, pump maintenance, hydraulics/pneumatics, welding, industrial electricity, industrial supervision, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Adapt curriculum to meet the needs of credit and non‑credit learners.
- Maintain up‑to‑date instructional materials and equipment.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Required profile
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial technology or engineering technology preferred.
- Strong organizational, computer, and interpersonal abilities.
- Prior teaching or training experience preferred.
- Industry maintenance certification is a plus.
