Independent Contractor for Home Food Delivery Diabetes Study

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking an independent contractor to support a research project titled "Home Food Delivery for Diabetes Management in Patients of Rural Clinics." The work will be conducted at the Lee County Community Clinic and focuses on delivering nutritional support to patients with diabetes in a rural setting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the planning and execution of home food delivery services for study participants.
• Coordinate with clinic staff to schedule deliveries and collect relevant health data.
• Maintain accurate records of food packages, participant interactions, and study outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with study protocols, safety guidelines, and vaccination requirements.
• Provide regular updates to the research team on progress and any issues encountered.

Required profile

• Current employee of Lee County Community Clinic working on UAMS research projects.
• Ability to work on-site at the clinic and travel within the local area as needed.
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States.
• Full COVID‑19 vaccination or an approved exemption.
