Healthcare Performance Improvement Associate

About the role

Marwood Group is seeking a highly motivated Associate (or Senior Associate) to join its Performance Improvement Practice. You will work on complex client engagements across the healthcare ecosystem, supporting private‑equity sponsors and corporate clients in acquisition diligence, integration, and value‑creation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute complex analyses, delegating tasks as needed.
• Develop compelling presentations and communicate findings effectively.
• Build and maintain working‑level client relationships, delivering reliable results.
• Leverage cross‑functional knowledge (RCM, IT, ops, finance) to identify risks and opportunities.
• Own select workstreams within larger engagements, coordinating cross‑functional execution.
• Manage project interdependencies, address risks, and deliver measurable impact (e.g., EBITDA, cash acceleration).
• Ensure quality control of all deliverables and develop tools to standardize services.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to business‑development activities.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of experience in healthcare consulting, operations, or analytics.
• Proven ability to manage complex team efforts in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong understanding of healthcare finance, operations, and industry landscape.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to produce high‑quality client deliverables.
