About the role

The Healthcare Business Consultant will support strategic initiatives and drive process improvements within a healthcare or academic medicine environment. This remote, long‑term position requires strong project management expertise and the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage project plans, timelines, risks and issues.
• Utilize project tracking tools such as Microsoft tools and Asana.
• Coordinate and manage cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Facilitate process‑improvement work sessions, track actions and outcomes, and document workflows.
• Apply project management experience within healthcare or academic medicine organizations.
• Support high‑priority strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Completed Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven project management experience, including planning, risk management and stakeholder coordination.
• Demonstrated experience in process improvement and workflow documentation.
• Experience working in healthcare or academic medicine settings.
• Ability to support high‑priority strategic initiatives.

• Asana.
• Workiva or similar cloud‑based platform.
