About the role
The Head of People and Talent will lead Bluemercury’s people organization, shaping strategy and execution to support rapid growth. Reporting to the SVP of Human Resources and partnering closely with the CEO, this senior leader will be a key member of the executive team.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and expand the People function, covering colleague relations, talent acquisition, learning & development, culture, and HR operations.
- Design and implement career frameworks, performance management systems, personal development plans, compensation reviews, and management training.
- Refine talent acquisition processes to deliver an exceptional candidate experience from application through onboarding.
- Scale and embed a mission‑driven, fast‑paced culture that lives the company’s core values.
- Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence across Bloomingdale’s and Macy’s to meet evolving business needs.
Required profile
- Proven experience building and scaling a world‑class people organization in a fast‑growing environment.
- Executive presence with the ability to partner directly with C‑level leaders.
- Strong track record of developing people managers and driving cultural initiatives.
