Groundskeeper / Porter (Entry Level)

About the role

Greystar is seeking an entry‑level Groundskeeper/Porter to join the Brotton Place team in Lacey. You will help maintain the visual appeal and cleanliness of the community, supporting both residents and the service team.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain community spaces, entrances, and exits throughout the day.
• Remove litter, debris, pet droppings, and clean outdoor areas.
• Assist the property team by clearing trash and items from vacant apartments before make‑ready.
• Pull out and return trash and recycling containers on scheduled pickup days.
• Maintain sanitation in trash rooms and distribute resident notices as needed.
• Ensure common areas and amenities meet Greystar’s standards for curb appeal.

Required profile

• Previous groundskeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong communication skills – read, write, and speak effectively.
• Knowledge of safe use of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.
