Full-Time Assistant Teaching Professor – Automotive Technology

About the role

The University of Arkansas Pulaski Technical College seeks a full‑time Assistant Teaching Professor to join its Automotive Repair department. This non‑tenure‑track faculty member will deliver high‑quality instruction to associate‑degree and certificate students in a range of automotive technology courses.

Key responsibilities

• Teach 30 credit hours per academic year, covering both lecture and laboratory components.
• Deliver courses such as Automatic Transmission/Transaxle, Powertrain, Climate Control, Engine Repair, Automotive Brake Systems, Chassis and Steering, Electrical Fundamentals, and Engine Performance.
• Maintain regular office hours and provide academic support to students.
• Establish a visible campus presence and contribute to departmental activities.
