French Teacher (0.6 FTE)

About the role

Clarkston Community Schools is seeking a dedicated French Teacher to work part‑time across both Clarkston Junior High School and Clarkston High School. The position totals 0.6 full‑time equivalents, split 0.4 FTE at the junior high and 0.2 FTE at the high school, providing an opportunity to engage students at multiple grade levels.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver French language instruction to students at junior high and high school levels.
• Develop and adapt curriculum to meet the needs of multiple proficiency levels.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with fellow faculty to integrate French into broader educational initiatives.

Required profile

• Prior experience teaching French is preferred.
• Major or minor in French or a related field is desirable.
• Willingness and ability to teach multiple levels of French.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with Internet research, email communication, and Google Docs.
