About the role

FAR Inspections is seeking independent contractors to perform residential occupancy verifications in Anderson County, Texas. As a freelance Occupancy Check Reviewer you will conduct brief exterior visits to confirm property status and report on general conditions, working on a schedule you control.

Key responsibilities

• Determine property occupancy status using industry‑standard indicators.
• Capture at least nine photos per visit and submit concise reports via a mobile application.
• Plan and manage your own routing, schedule, and territory coverage.
• Maintain reliable coverage of the assigned rural county and meet daily deadlines.
• Drive safely between properties, often on country roads, using a fuel‑efficient vehicle.

Required profile

• Independent contractor able to provide own reliable, fuel‑efficient vehicle.
• Smartphone (iOS or Android) capable of running the required mobile reporting app.
• Computer with internet access and a printer for document handling.
• Strong time‑management skills and ability to work without direct supervision.
• Pass a standard background check.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a smartphone (iOS or Android).
• Experience using mobile reporting applications.
• Basic digital photography for property documentation.
