Financial Controller

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Financial Controller to lead finance and accounting operations in a fast‑moving, service‑oriented organization. The role offers high visibility and the chance to build structure, improve processes, and provide reliable financial insights that support better decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead core finance and accounting functions, including budgeting, audits, and month‑end close under U.S. GAAP.
• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations such as general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, payroll, invoicing, fixed assets, collections, reconciliations, and sales & use tax.
• Improve accounting systems, workflows, and documentation to ensure consistency and scalability.
• Maintain and enhance financial procedures and internal controls.
• Deliver accurate, timely financial reporting for leadership and external requirements.
• Support billing processes, including pricing adjustments, commissions, and incentives.
• Manage relationships with external partners including banks, vendors, landlords, and suppliers.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP accounting.
• Experience leading or managing finance and accounting functions.
• Comfort balancing hands‑on execution with process improvement.
• Analytical, detail‑oriented, and organized.
• Excellent communication skills with non‑finance stakeholders.
• Experience in MSP or technology services is a plus.
