Field Self-Perform Heavy Industrial Technician

About the role

Big-D Heavy Industrial is seeking motivated individuals for Field/Self‑Perform positions across multiple heavy‑industrial projects. You will work on‑site, following safety standards and company procedures while contributing to the successful completion of construction scopes.

Key responsibilities

• Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines on every task.
• Record and enter daily production quantities and maintain accurate daily reports.
• Operate work‑related equipment as required and ensure proper tool usage.
• Adhere to the Think and Build processes for each assignment.
• Identify and select the correct tools for specific functions.
• Communicate verbally and in writing with team members and supervisors.

Required profile

• Basic OSHA or equivalent safety training (training will be provided if needed).
• Ability to understand and capture safety concerns for the team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Capability to organize, prioritize work and follow verbal directions.
• Willingness to take responsibility for personal and crew health and safety.

Required skills
