Entry-Level Designer (Architecture)

About the role

Ennead, a CannonDesign company, is seeking an entry‑level Designer to join its multidisciplinary team in Los Angeles. Working under the guidance of licensed architects, you will contribute to the design and technical development of civic and public‑realm projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the design process using Illustrator, Photoshop, and Sketch‑Up.
• Create physical building models.
• Prepare architectural documentation under supervision.
• Develop graphics and presentation materials for client meetings.
• Support product and building‑code research.
• Review shop drawings and submittals.
• Participate in internal project meetings and site visits.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field (required by hire date).
• Strong creative design portfolio.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities.
• Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Sketch‑Up.
• Experience with Revit and Enscape (preferred).
• Competence in Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite.
