Director of Training

About the role

We are seeking a Director of Training to lead onboarding and development for new agents, coordinators and lead generators at our Pittsburgh office. This senior position will shape training strategy, deliver diverse learning solutions and ensure compliance with insurance and carrier standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver and continuously improve onboarding programs for sales agents, including classroom, one‑on‑one, e‑learning and virtual sessions.
• Collaborate with the Sales Manager and General Manager to create training curricula, carrier updates and performance‑based modules.
• Execute CRM strategies, support lead management and distribution, and provide ongoing sales coaching.
• Facilitate training classes during business hours and monitor post‑training performance against goals.
• Coordinate with sales leadership to recommend performance improvement strategies.

Required profile

• Strong people skills with a proven ability to engage and retain new sales talent.
• Experience in the insurance industry is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to work collaboratively with sales and management teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AMS, PL Rater and Bridge underwriting platforms.
• Solid knowledge of carrier underwriting requirements.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Experience with CRM systems and lead management tools.
