Diagnostic Radiology Technologist – Shackleford Orthopedic Clinic

About the role

The Diagnostic Radiology Technologist will provide high‑quality imaging services to patients at Shackleford Orthopedic Clinic, supporting physicians in diagnosis and treatment planning. This full‑time, day‑shift position is based on the Little Rock campus and reports to the clinic’s radiology supervisor.

Key responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures, including X‑ray, fluoroscopy, and basic CT imaging, following established protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort while positioning and preparing patients for imaging studies.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in compliance with HIPAA and institutional policies.
• Calibrate, troubleshoot, and perform routine maintenance on radiology equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to optimize imaging workflows.

Required profile

• Current certification as a Radiology Technologist (ARRT or equivalent).
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with patients and multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Operation of diagnostic radiology equipment (X‑ray, fluoroscopy, CT).
• Knowledge of radiation safety standards and infection control practices.
• Ability to interpret imaging orders and adjust techniques accordingly.
