Designer – Architecture

About the role

Walker Warner, an award‑winning architecture firm in San Francisco, is seeking a Designer – Architecture to join its collaborative studio. The role supports project teams in developing design documentation and virtual building models for residential, winery and hospitality projects across the West Coast.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate BIM models and drawing sets throughout all project phases.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and government agencies to ensure code compliance and material specifications.
• Prepare presentation graphics for client and agency meetings.
• Lead virtual project meetings, share BIM models via Zoom and record meeting minutes.
• Distribute project deliverables and uphold the office’s graphic standards.
• Assist with general office tasks that keep daily operations running smoothly.

Required profile

• Accredited degree in Architecture.
• 2‑4 years of professional experience in design and production.
• Intermediate knowledge of Type V construction.
• Strong verbal, written and graphic communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in BIM and 3D modeling (ArchiCAD preferred).
• Experience creating and managing virtual building models.
