About the role

The University of Arkansas Pulaski Technical College seeks an experienced academic leader to serve as Dean of Science, Math, and Allied Health. Reporting to the Provost, the Dean will guide the college’s science, mathematics, and health‑related programs, ensuring they align with the institution’s mission of high‑quality instruction and student success.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic vision and leadership for science, mathematics, pre‑health, nursing, dental assisting, respiratory therapy, surgical technology, and health information technology programs.
• Manage partnerships with Baptist Health and St. Vincent Health for occupational therapy assistant and radiography programs.
• Oversee planning, budgeting, program evaluation, and development of existing and new academic offerings.
• Facilitate coordination across disciplines to promote student achievement and program effectiveness.
• Support faculty in adopting innovative and relevant teaching practices.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., science, mathematics, health sciences) with a record of academic leadership.
• Demonstrated experience in higher‑education administration, budgeting, and program development.
• Proven ability to build and maintain external partnerships with healthcare organizations.
• Strong commitment to student learning outcomes and faculty development.
