About the role
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a senior academic leader to serve as Dean of the College of Public Health. The Dean will provide strategic direction for the college’s education, research, and clinical programs, fostering teamwork, diversity, and collaboration across the university’s health‑care initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the College of Public Health in advancing its mission of education, research, and clinical service.
- Promote a collaborative environment that supports diversity and teamwork.
- Represent the college within the broader UAMS system and external partners.
- Ensure compliance with university policies and accreditation standards.
Required profile
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
- Commitment to the university’s values of collaboration, patient care improvement, and service to the community.
