Data Entry Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Data Entry Specialist to join our healthcare team. The role involves accurately entering patient and clinical information into our electronic medical records system while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, collect, review and enter data into the tracking database or EMR system.
• Verify completeness and accuracy of all entered information.
• Read source documents and populate specific data fields.
• Perform data integrity checks, locate and correct errors, or report them to supervisors.
• Scan or upload documents as required.
• Handle routine office duties such as answering phones and maintaining supplies.
• Maintain activity logs and file or distribute completed documents.
• Assist with other related tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• High School diploma or GED.
• 0‑1 year of data entry experience.
• Typing speed of at least 45 words per minute.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work onsite full‑time.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations.
• Experience using multiple computer applications simultaneously.
• Ability to scan, upload and manage digital documents.

What we offer

• Competitive hourly wage ranging from $18 to $22.
• Full‑time schedule (8:30 AM‑4:30 PM).
