Cybersecurity Analyst

About the role

Aaratech Inc is looking for a detail‑oriented Cybersecurity Analyst to protect its systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. The analyst will monitor security alerts, investigate incidents, manage vulnerabilities, and ensure compliance with industry frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and logs using SIEM and other monitoring tools.
• Investigate suspicious activities, analyze logs, and detect anomalies.
• Identify, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity incidents, supporting containment and remediation.
• Perform vulnerability scanning, risk assessments, and coordinate patch deployment.
• Support implementation of security policies and assist with compliance to NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and CIS frameworks.
• Utilize security tools such as SIEM (Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel), EDR, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles.
• Strong knowledge of network security, threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate findings clearly.
