About the role

The Arkansas Cotton Research Verification Program seeks a dedicated coordinator to manage and deliver extension education that translates research findings into practical farm applications. This role supports growers, extension agents, and researchers in advancing cotton production across the state.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute the Cotton Verification Programs according to the program’s guidelines.
• Collaborate with cotton growers, county extension agents, and an advisory committee of faculty and researchers.
• Facilitate the transfer of research technology to farms through field demonstrations and data collection.
• Maintain program documentation, reports, and communication with stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, agronomy, or a related field.
• Experience in agricultural extension, research coordination, or similar program management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to travel within Arkansas as needed for field activities.
