Corporate & Investment Banking Receivables Financing VP

About the role

The Vice President will lead the structuring, pricing and execution of trade receivables monetization transactions for Corporate and Investment Banking clients of Santander US. Acting as a trusted advisor, the VP will help clients optimise working capital through receivables solutions and manage the full lifecycle of these financing deals.

Key responsibilities

• Structure and execute receivable financing transactions, including factoring, repos and securitisation.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders (Compliance, Risk, Legal, IT, Operations, Asset Distribution, etc.) and external partners (law firms, insurers, brokers) to ensure seamless end‑to‑end execution and client onboarding.
• Lead legal documentation negotiations for new and existing receivable portfolios.
• Drive internal approval processes with risk, middle office and other support functions.
• Contribute to the development of Santander’s CIB receivable monetisation capabilities.
• Manage the portfolio in partnership with the Trade Distribution team to optimise capital usage.
• Grow the business by developing new relationships and enhancing existing revenue streams.
• Gather market intelligence, assess deal profitability against capital models and present transactions to credit and capital committees.

Required profile

• Deep expertise in receivables monetisation structures such as factoring, repos and securitisation, including associated S&P methodologies.
• Proven experience in legal execution and design of receivable financing transactions.
• Strong understanding of banking operating practices, governance and risk frameworks.
• Ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
