Corporate & Investment Banking Global Trade & Working Capital Sales Analyst

About the role

This position supports senior trade finance bankers within Santander's Corporate & Investment Banking division. The analyst acts as the first‑line contact for clients, partner banks and internal teams, ensuring smooth execution of trade and working‑capital transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support to clients, banks and internal stakeholders for trade finance and working‑capital deals.
• Create, validate and enhance operational reports, addressing ad‑hoc reporting needs.
• Calculate funding requirements and communicate results accurately to relevant departments.
• Identify and resolve transaction issues, coordinating with Front Office and Loan Operations.
• Review transaction documentation for completeness and accuracy, recommending remedial actions when necessary.
• Guide loan operations teams on booking structured or non‑standard transactions.
• Maintain up‑to‑date client folders with financial and legal documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in trade and working‑capital products preferred.
• Strong analytical ability and financial acumen.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize a heavy workload and work independently.
• Professional integrity and the ability to interact with all organizational levels.
